CAROL ORZEL

In February 2019, the Mütter Museum welcomed the skeleton of Carol Orzel to our permanent exhibitions. Carol suffered from a rare disease called fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP). In this video, Carol's former doctor, Frederick S. Kaplan, MD, describes her remarkable life and personality.
