Archives Month Philly Event: From Oyntments & Salves to Kotex & Pills


Registration opens September 10th at 9:00AM. Limited tickets available.

As part of Archives Month Philly, the Historical Medical Library of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia will be hosting an open house and a special pop-up exhibit, “From Oyntments & Salves to Kotex & Pills.” “From Oyntments & Salves to Kotex & Pills” looks at how women’s healthcare has changed in the West, from 17th century recipe books to mid-20th century manuals and ephemera.

This event is open house-style: you can stop by anytime between 5:30pm-7:00pm.

The Mütter Museum will not be open during this event.
