April showers bring May flowers!
The Historical Medical Library of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia will be displaying their herbal collection. An herbal is a book that describes herbs and their culinary or medicinal properties.
The library will have its oldest herbal on display, Hortus Sanitatus (1491). Hortus Sanitatus is one of over four hundred of the College’s incunabula (a book published before 1500).
