November Library Pop-up: Deliverance Through Diet

The Historical Medical Library will be celebrating Thanksgiving by displaying some of their books and ephemera on the Battle Creek Sanitarium. Battle Creek was founded in 1866 and known for its strict nutritional requirements implemented by Dr. John Kellogg, their chief medical officer. Such requirements were vegetarian diets, Corn Flakes and the occasional yogurt enema! The exhibit is sure to inspire your Thanksgiving meal!

This event is complimentary with your Mütter Museum admission. No registration is required.

The Mütter Museum helps the public appreciate the mysteries and beauty of the human body while understanding the history of diagnosis and treatment of disease.
