Plant Care 101 with Plant Kween

Learn the basics of plant care, adopt/rehome a plant, and discover how Plant Kween came to be!


Timeline
5:30-6:30pm – Plant Care 101 Lecture & Demonstration
6:30-7:30pm – Reception with Plant Kween meet-and-greet. 

*Plant Adoption Table – bring a plant that you would like to rehome and/or adopt a plant (not required)
*Light refreshments will be provided
*The main Mütter Museum will not be open during this event.

ABOUT Plant Kween:

Christopher is a plant enthusiast and collector, better known as Plant Kween! They share their botanical adventures to plant shops and botanical gardens via social media, as a personal method of self-care and community building. Their mission is to continue to build a diverse online community of plant kweens, daddies and mamas; create greater visibility as a Black queer femme existing in green spaces, and just share the joy + happiness plants have brought into their life.
