There will be no elevator access to the Mütter Museum for all of January and February 2017.
We will be installing a new elevator from January 1st, 2017. Our new elevator will drastically improve access to our collections and events and visitors will be able to enjoy regular access as of early March, 2017.
Additionally, our Vesalius exhibit will be closed from January 13th, 2017 to prepare for a new exhibit opening early March, 2017.
Today is #GivingTuesday: Can you give us a hand? The Mütter Museum and Mütter Institute exist to teach people about medical history, and to use modern technology to examine our collections and learn more about rare diseases.

At 4:00 pm on Monday, January 25, 2016 at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s Physician General, Rachel Levine, MD, will launch the first-ever Pennsylvania Teen Health Week.
