This October the College of Physicians of Philadelphia (home of the Mütter Museum) launches a packed fall schedule of events for fans of art, science, and everything in between.
The fall program launches on Monday, October 5 with two unique and unusual events. Death Salon Mütter Museum features two whole days of presentations and conversations about an often-ignored subject, our own mortality, while Anatomical Anomalies invites the artistic to draw inspiration from the Mütter collection…literally.

October – November: Anatomical Anomalies Drawing Course
An unusual and unique opportunity to draw from the Mütter Museum’s collection of anatomical specimens.
October 5 & 6: Death Salon Mütter Museum
Death Salon joins forces with the Mütter Museum to highlight the delicate relationship between death and medicine. Founder Megan Rosenbloom is a Philly native and couldn’t be happier bringing Death Salon to her hometown!

October 21: Food & Thought: The Power of Public Murals
October 21: Philadelphia Public Health Grand Rounds
The first ever Philadelphia Public Health Grand Rounds focuses on emerging approaches to Hepatitis C.
October 26: Archives Month Philly – Exploring the Meaning of ‘Monster’
The Historical Medical Library will be displaying materials exploring what it meant to be a ‘monster’ in the 16th – 20th centuries.
October 27: Philadelphia Book Launch of “The Witch of Lime Street”
