Our favorite seasonal "exhibit" is now on display through the end of the month: The Mùtter Tree is adorned with a unique collection of ornaments, artifacts and "specimens" created and donated by you! We accept donations of ornaments in person or by mail. Ts&Cs: ornaments are not returned, no guarantee of display which is at discretion of museum staff. Mail ornaments to: Mütter Tree, Mütter Museum, 19 S. 22nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
As it's the season of giving, what better gift for a loved one than a science lesson they'll never forget? Mütter membership offers free museum admission for a year, and exclusive discounts on store items and events. Give the gift of membership in December and we'll include a unique enamel pin set for your Mütter mate, and we'll send one to you, too!
March 9, 2019 is Dr. Mütter's birthday and we'll be celebrating with an evening of curiously curated creations, and a myriad of mysteries. Members will get discount tickets for this extra-Mùtter-y affair.
It's #conjoinedcookie making time again, be sure to grab your cookie cutter and share your creations with us. And if you're baking with your kids this season, pique their interest further with these kid-friendly additions to our museum store!
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you! Last week on social media we shared some behind the scenes stories about specimen preservation and our unique STEM education programs. We want to THANK YOU for your generosity - we raised over $1.5k! That's enough to preserve five wet specimens, or to purchase 100 sheep brains for our dissection classes!
If you'd still like to donate (money, not organs, please!) Just Click Here - thank you!
The Mütter Museum helps the public appreciate the mysteries and beauty of the human body while understanding the history of diagnosis and treatment of disease.
