Mütter's Day Tea

Did you know that “mütter” means “mothers” in German? Join us for an afternoon tea tasting on Mother’s Day to show appreciation to those who play a special role in your life!  

For centuries, we've used plants for medicinal purposes and nourishment. Join us in collaboration with the Philadelphia-based Random Tea Room to enjoy three hand-blended teas inspired by herbs grown in our Benjamin Rush Medicinal Garden. This tea tasting will provide an opportunity to learn about the medicinal benefits of everyday herbs and plants. We’ll also treat you to tea sandwiches and desserts. 

Afterwards, visit the Museum and take part in Mütter’s Day activities! This event is open to Museum Members and College Fellows only and is family-friendly.  

Not a Mütter Member?  to take part in the celebration!
