Join us for our first Wellness Wednesdays of the Summer featuring yoga! 

Join experienced yoga teacher and wellness specialist, Heather Rice, for an hour of discovering how the practices of Yoga can improve your body and state of mind whether at the office, at home or on the go. Heather will discuss science backed benefits of many aspects of Yoga. Participants will then be led through a mini experience that they can take with them wherever they go for optimal health of mind and body!

 

Timeline:

5:00 - 6:00 PM: Museum Access
6:00 - 6:30 PM: Introduction to Yoga
6:30 - 7:00 PM: Heather Rice Yoga Exercise


About Wellness Wednesdays:

Wellness Wednesdays is a new Summer happy hour series focused on exploring different facets of wellness as it relates to physical, emotional, and mental health. Register today to hear our guest speakers lead discussions and demonstrations on approaches and practices that you can translate into your own health and wellness journey. Topics include yoga, meditation and more.  

In addition to hearing from our guest speakers, this series includes admission to the Mütter Museum from 5-6pm and a botanically infused beverage to enjoy in the Benjamin Rush Medicinal Garden.  

 

About Heather Rice:

Heather Rice is an experienced wellness practitioner and entrepreneur with over 20 years experience guiding others towards improved health and lifestyle choices and over 10 years of successful wellness business leadership.

As Owner & Managing partner of Philadelphia’s Amrita Yoga & wellness, Heather combines her expertise as a Yoga instructor with inspiring entrepreneurship as she fosters wellness in her community and beyond.

  • Museum Admission is included in the ticket price. The Museum will be open from 5 to 6pm only.
  • Please bring your own yoga mat for the event.
  • All or parts of this event is scheduled for to be outside in the Benjamin Rush Medicinal Garden. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside.
